CBI.218 is a recombinant mouse monoclonal antibody that binds specifically to the TRBC1 epitope on T lymphocytes—the same epitope recognized by the well-characterized JOVI.1 clone. By targeting the T-cell receptor beta constant region 1 (TCR-Cβ1), CBI.218 detects TRBC1-positive T cells expressing a range of TCRβ variable (Vβ) regions and reliably stains established TRBC1-expressing cell lines such as Jurkat, CH7C17, and HA1.7. TRBC1-specific antibodies such as CBI.218 are valuable tools for evaluating T-cell clonality and supporting the diagnosis of T-cell neoplasms.
