APC anti-Mouse/Rat CD29/Integrin-β1 mAb

CD29 is a 130 kDa protein, also known as integrin beta 1, the VLA-beta chain, or GPIIa. As a member of the integrin family, it is widely expressed on leukocytes, endothelial cells, smooth muscle, and epithelial cells. CD29 associates with CD49a-f to form the VLA-1 through VLA-6 complexes, respectively. It plays a crucial role in cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions. The HMβ1-1 antibody reacts with both mouse and rat CD29. It is capable of blocking cell adhesion and inhibiting T-cell proliferation.
