COM1/p8 rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from PhosphoSolutions is produced in-house. It detects human COM1/p8 and is antigen affinity purified. It is great for use in WB. The human p8 gene encodes a nuclear protein with strong mitogenic activity, which is expressed in the pancreas in response to acute pancreatitis. Response to TNF alpha and staurosporine-induced apoptosis is not modified by p8 expression. However, cells expressing p8 grow significantly and more rapidly.
