CD41 Unconjugated

CBI.148 is a recombinant monoclonal antibody that specifically targets CD41, also referred to as Integrin αIIb or Platelet GPIIb, a protein primarily found on the surface of platelets and their precursor cells, megakaryocytes. It functions in conjunction with CD61, also known as β3 integrin or GPIIIa, to form a calcium-dependent heterodimeric complex. This CD41/CD61 integrin complex plays a critical role in blood clotting by acting as a binding site for key adhesive proteins, including fibrinogen, fibronectin, and von Willebrand factor. Through these interactions, the complex facilitates platelet adhesion and clumping at sites of vascular injury, contributing to hemostasis.
