The cells are resistant to 8-azaguanine and are HAT sensitive. They can be used as fusion partners for producing hybridomas. The cells do not secrete immunoglobulin. The cells have been reported to be cholesterol auxotroph due to a deficiency in 3-ketosteroid reductase activity.
Technické specifikace
Doprava a skladování Cryopreserved cell lines are shipped on dry ice in validated, insulated packaging with sufficient refrigerant to maintain approximately −78 °C throughout transit. On receipt, inspect the container immediately and transfer vials without delay to appropriate storage.
