The pluriPlix is a universal, non-electric mixer that has been specially developed for incubating liquid samples. It works in combination with a magnetic stirrer, whereby its heating function must be deactivated. The pluriPlix can hold up to four 50 ml reaction vessels per sample holder, with a maximum total load of 240 g per holder. Thanks to its flexible design, sample holders can be mounted at different angles to ensure optimal mixing. This design enables thorough and gentle mixing of samples, which is particularly advantageous for cell separation with pluriBead systems. The pluriPlix is maintenance-free and should be operated in a dry environment at temperatures between 0°C and 45°C.​​ A roller mixer is a device that is often used in laboratories to mix liquids or powders by continuously rolling and rotating the containers. This achieves uniform mixing without intensive shaking or stirring, which is particularly important for sensitive samples.
